Point72 Asset Management, the hedge fund firm founded by Steve Cohen has hired Bobby Previti, formerly a Bank of America managing director, as a macro portfolio manager in London, according to a report by Financial News London.
Previti previously led sovereign, supranational, agency, and covered bond trading at BoA and spent nearly four years at Morgan Stanley as an executive director in bond trading.
The move comes amid a wave of senior departures from Bank of America’s European macro units, with top traders being courted by hedge funds and rival banks.
Point72 has delivered 13.2% year-to-date returns as of October, including a 2.9% gain that month.
