London-based prime broker GBM Securities has appointed Maria Antsupova as its new Head of Global Markets Operations, strengthening its operational leadership as the firm continues to expand its institutional prime brokerage offering, according to a report by Finance Magnates.
Antsupova joins from ITI Capital, where she served in the same role, overseeing operational functions across global markets. ITI Capital focuses on emerging markets and provides brokerage services to a wide client base including hedge funds, proprietary trading firms, banks and institutional investors.
She brings extensive experience in trading operations and post-trade infrastructure, having previously spent nearly nine years at Renaissance Capital. During her tenure there, Antsupova held senior roles including Head of London Operations and Global Head of Trade Support, after initially joining the firm as Head of Trade Support.
Earlier in her career, she worked at Alfa Capital, where she served as Head of Global Markets Back Office within the firm’s asset management division, as well as Chief Specialist in the operations department.
GBM Securities is authorised and regulated by the UK Financial Conduct Authority and provides brokerage and prime brokerage services to hedge finds, institutional investors, and family offices. The firm’s platform spans trade execution, clearing and settlement, portfolio optimisation, risk analytics and leverage solutions, supported by electronic trading infrastructure and compliance controls.
