Perusse’s practice focusses on private fund formation, investment activities, securities regulation and compliance matters. He regularly represents sponsors and managers of private funds across various asset classes, including real estate, private equity, debt, venture capital and hedge funds, with respect to the structuring, formation and operation of the funds, regulatory and compliance matters and investing activities.
Perusse joins Rimon from VLP Law Group, where he was a Partner. The Financial Services Team brings substantial and diverse expertise to the firm’s clients. They handle many large and complex matters that were historically only handled by the largest law firms in the country.
“We are delighted to have Geoff on our team. His deep private fund experience will help us better serve our financial services clients ranging from new funds to the largest funds in the world,” says Michael Moradzadeh, Rimon’s CEO.
“I am very excited about joining Rimon’s Financial Services Group. Rimon has a highly skilled and experienced group of lawyers and provides a great platform for my practice. The firm’s innovative organisational structure is unmatched in the industry; it will enable myself and our team of lawyers to support my clients across the country, while at the same time maintaining excellent value,” said Perusse.
Perusse earned a JD from Washington & Lee University and a BA from Colgate University in International Relations.
