Sage launches integrated private banking and digital asset platform for hedge funds

Related Topics

Sage Capital Management has expanded its offering for institutional investors, evolving from a crypto prime broker into a full-service operating system for digital assets, including the launch of a private banking service for hedge funds and other asset managers.

According to a press statement, the new platform combines banking, global markets access, capital management, and proprietary technology, providing seamless access to fiat and digital markets in a single integrated environment, and giving hedge funds the infrastructure to move, trade, and manage digital assets efficiently and securely. Clients can now operate under multi-currency accounts with UK Faster Payments, SEPA, SWIFT, and over 140 global currencies, while also leveraging Sage’s Embedded COO™ service, offering senior operational support alongside their banking account.

Sage Capital Management’s markets access layer provides unified connectivity to spot, derivatives, and OTC liquidity across more than 40 venues, with real-time settlement and risk management. Its capital engine centralises portfolio margin, institutional credit, and structured financing, optimising collateral deployment across the network. The proprietary Sage Platform integrates trading, execution, risk, and transaction cost analysis (TCA), allowing multi-venue, multi-product trading with advanced algorithmic capabilities.

CEO Nathan Sage said the integrated offering addresses “significant pain points for institutional clients such as fragmentation and operational friction,” allowing hedge funds to manage capital efficiently, minimise counterparty risk, and operate end-to-end across digital asset markets.

Sage Capital Management operates under a multi-jurisdictional framework, with regulated banking, custody, payments, and credit services, ensuring compliance and operational oversight suitable for professional investors.
