Sanne is enhancing its technology and product development capabilities with the appointment of a new Director of Product Development.
The global provider of financial services has appointed Sam Metland to the role to help further strengthen client services, with a particular focus on product development and technology. He is based in London, but will draw on his more than 10 years of industry experience that has seen him also spend time in New York, Luxembourg, Singapore and the Channel Islands.
“Sam is well known in the alternative asset community and we will benefit from his industry knowledge and experience as we continue to grow as a leading global alternative asset and corporate administration business. Our focus on innovation and technology will continue and Sam’s appointment at Sanne will help us in achieving our technology and product development strategy,” says Sanne’s Senior Managing Director, Philip Godley.
In his new role, Metland will work closely with Sanne’s Managing Directors and heads of business to develop an integrated client services business strategy. His appointment comes as Sanne – which is headquartered in Jersey – has continued to see growth as a result of demand for its alternative asset and corporate administration and reporting services globally.
Metland is a graduate of the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology, where he was awarded an Honours BSc in Maths Statistics and Operational Research.
