SBAI names new chair for North American Committee

The Standards Board for Alternative Investments has appointed Derek Drummond, fund alpha manager at the State of Wisconsin Investment Board, as the new chair of the SBAI North American Committee. 

The Standards Board for Alternative Investments (SBAI) has appointed Derek Drummond, fund alpha manager at the State of Wisconsin Investment Board, as the new chair of the SBAI North American Committee. 

Drummond will work closely with Sapna Vir, managing director of business development at Verition Fund Management and deputy chair of the committee, to lead the SBAI’s activities and initiatives in North America.

Drummond succeeds Ed O’Reilly, partner at Citadel, who was elected to the Board of Trustees of the SBAI in 2022 and will remain on the committee. 

Two new committee members have also been appointed: William Heard, founder, CEO & CIO, Heard Capital: Ingrid Kiefer, partner and chief marketing officer, Canyon Partners
