Scaramucci launches video course for Gen Z professionals

Related Topics

Anthony Scaramucci, founder of hedge fund SkyBridge Capital, has launched a new online course aimed at early-career professionals navigating a challenging labour market and rapid disruption from artificial intelligence, according to a report by Bloomberg.

The $49 programme, called Resilience Lab, offers short videos on managing failure, building resilience and developing workplace skills, with Scaramucci drawing on what he describes as “30 years of scar tissue” from his career in finance, politics and crypto.

The initiative marks an expansion of Scaramucci’s efforts to engage younger audiences, particularly men who research suggests are falling behind in education and employment and increasingly influenced by online figures promoting toxic masculinity. The course, which is free for users unable to pay, will donate proceeds to the Brain Tumor Foundation.

In the lessons, Scaramucci discusses handling setbacks — including his 11-day tenure as White House communications director — and encourages participants to maintain accountability, manage ego and build offline relationships. He also advises limiting social media use and returning to classic literature to develop focus and perspective.

Resilience Lab forms part of a broader collaboration between Scaramucci and NYU professor Scott Galloway, who together launched the “Lost Boys” podcast earlier this year to explore shifting social and economic pressures on young men. Scaramucci plans to expand the project with additional video modules, college talks and live events.
