Senior Deutsche Bank rates trader joins Alphadyne

Eren Ozgur, the Head of Global Rates Strategies at Deutsche Bank has quit to take up a portfolio management role at Alphadyne Asset Management, a New York-based hedge fund founded by ex-Goldman Sachs partner Philippe Khuong-Huu and run by CEO and 28-year JPMorgan veteran, Joseph Regan.

The report cites the FCA Register as revealing that Ozgur made the switch in August, joining the firm’s London office, which opened in 2012, and was previously run by Guillaume Nicolle, who left the firm to join Graham Capital Management in May.

Ozgur is the latest in a number of senior hires at Aplahdyne this year, with Jack Montgomery joining the firm from Goldman Sachs in February, and Massimo Marzeglia arriving from BlackRock in July.
