Alternative investment manager Shrewsbury River Capital (SRC) has added Dan Voloshin as a new senior member in its investment team.
Voloshin joins SRC from his previous role as head of the CMBS Secondary Trading Desk at Deutsche Bank (DB), a franchise for CRE financing, CMBS issuance, and secondary CMBS trading. He managed a team of traders and a large portfolio of CMBS securities across the credit spectrum.
Prior to running the trading desk at DB, Voloshin was focused on trading the non-investment grade and distressed CMBS portfolio. Preceding his time at DB, Dan was the co-head of the Barclay’s CMBS trading desk.
Jamie Kelner, CIO of SRC says, “Dan has demonstrated experience in CMBS trading, specifically in credit intensive bonds, and is highly respected in the industry. Our business is based around being a top notch fundamental credit firm. Dan’s expertise and experience will be invaluable as we expand the depth and breadth of the group.”
