Brooklands Fund Management Limited, a London-based regulatory platform for growing fund managers, has been authorised by the Central Bank of Ireland to act as the investment manager for Irish authorised investment funds. The recent authorisation by the Central Bank of Ireland enables Brooklands to manage AIFs established in Ireland. The Irish AIF industry is home to over EUR1 trillion in assets with over 2,200 AIFs. Over 40 per cent of global hedge fund assets are administered in Ireland. A new study of institutional investors and wealth managers, who collectively manage around USD108.4 billion in assets, reveals 85 per cent now have dedicated teams reviewing cryptocurrencies and digital assets. The research, which was commissioned by London-based Nickel Digital Asset Management (Nickel), a European digital assets hedge fund manager founded by senior traders and investment professionals formerly from major financial institutions including Goldman Sachs and JPMorgan, reveals 21 per cent of these teams have only been running for the past three months, and 42 per cent were established between three and six months ago. Talos, a provider of institutional trading technology for digital assets, has joined the Pyth Network, an oracle platform designed to provide trusted and verifiable market data to decentralised applications.  This partnership will include Talos providing real-time institutional crypto market data to the Pyth Network.
CTAs’ run of positive performance over the last 12 months came to an abrupt end in November, as news of the Omicron Covid-19 variant hit markets at the end of the month, according to the latest figures from Society Generale.  The flagship SG CTA Index was down -3.79 per cent in November but is still strongly positive so far this year at 5.71 per cent. Likewise, the SG Trend Index lost -4.71 per cent for the month, but still stands up 8.59 per cent year-to-date, with one month still to go. All of the individual CTA constituents of both indices
Digital asset investment products saw inflows totalling USD184 million last week, although the sharp price weakness at the end week did lead to USD40 million of outflows late Friday, according to the latest, Digital Asset Fund Flows Weekly report from CoinShares. Bitcoin saw inflows totalling USD145 million last week although it suffered at the end of the week with outflows of USD42 million on Friday and bore the brunt of investor jitters. Solana saw continued inflows totalling USD4.6. millionfor the week, seemingly unaffected by the recent price jitters.​​​​ Blockchain Equity ETPs saw inflows totalling USD75 million for the week.
State Street Corporation (NYSE:STT), in collaboration with Vanguard and Symbiont, have jointly completed the margin calculation process for a live trade of a 30-day foreign exchange forward contract through the use of Assembly, Symbiont’s distributed ledger technology. 
Exchange Data International (EDI), a provider of global security corporate actions, pricing, and reference data services, has launched a Reference Rates and Yield Curve Service. Reference Rates provides 700-plus reference rates globally with historical data coverage going back to 2010. The service can be utilised to determine interest rates for financial instruments including floating-rate notes and interest rate swap fixings. EDI offers Interbank and benchmark Reference Rates data for 53 currencies, including Euro legacy ones. The Yield Curve Service provides a term structure of interest rates under various scenarios, including IBOR discounting, OIS discounting, and use of Risk-Free Rates (“RFR”).
SimCorp, an independent provider of SaaS investment management solutions, has partnered with Domos FS, to provide a complete front-to-back-office investment management offering covering both public and private markets for asset managers, asset owners and service providers.  The partnership has been created in response to the increased use of alternatives in recent years by a wide range of asset managers and asset owners, and the operational challenges this has presented for existing and new investors in these asset classes.  The partnership is further reinforced by SimCorp taking an initial minority stake in Domos FS.
JUMP Technology, a European provider of a unique and modular investment management platform combining Data Management, Front-Middle-Back, and reporting capabilities, has expanded its partnership with Swiss financial data specialist SIX to provide JUMP Technology platform clients with greater access to SIX data. From now on, JUMP clients will have full access to ESG data from SIX to support them with the implementation of their responsible and sustainable investment strategies. They will also benefit from direct access to global sanctions data that, in connection to the JUMP compliance module, will allow them to detect pre- and post-trade infringements to existing sanctions
FlexTrade Systems, a specialist in multi-asset execution and order management systems, has integrated Tradefeedr’s unified data analytics API within FlexTRADER EMS.  Tradefeedr enables collaborative analysis of trading performance between liquidity providers and their clients using standardised common metrics. The first FlexTrade client, a European buy-side firm, is now live and in production using the integration. The move is designed to deliver buy-side trading teams using FlexTRADER EMS seamless access to real-time, analysis-ready FX data to improve the speed and quality of trading-decision making.
