PanXchange, a physical commodities OTC market structure solutions provider, has launched an institutional-grade industrial hemp exchange.
The marketplace will allow producers, processors, trade houses and end-users to participate in a transparent and efficient cash market for industrial hemp products and will ultimately pave the way for the creation of hemp derivatives contracts.

Kraken has acquired Interchange, an accounting, reconciliation and reporting service provider for cryptocurrency hedge funds, asset managers and fund administrators.
The transaction creates an end-to-end crypto trading and reconciliation platform, and brings Interchange co-founders and well-respected crypto veterans Dan Held and Clark Moody to Kraken.

CLS, a market infrastructure group delivering settlement, processing and data solutions, has lunched CLSNow, a bilateral, same-day FX gross payment-versus-payment (PvP) settlement service. JP Morgan and Goldman Sachs are the first banks to go live on the service.
CLSNow enables banks to exchange currency positions with mitigated settlement risk on a near-real-time basis. Currencies offered include the Canadian dollar, euro, UK pound sterling, and US dollar. Additional currencies will be added over time. The service mitigates FX settlement risk, enhances liquidity management, and provides balance sheet benefits for banks. Quedex, a crypto-centric futures and options exchange based out of Gibraltar, has bee ngranted a Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) Providers licence for trading of cryptocurrency derivatives and for custody of cryptocurrencies by the Gibraltar Financial Services Commission (GFSC) making it the first regulated entity of its kind globally.
The DLT licence follows a 15-month-long process in which Quedex, advised by PRT Lawyers, worked together with the Gibraltar authorities in order to meet all the conditions required.
