FINSIA, an Australasian financial services professional body, is to introduce an ethics test for Australian Bankers and securities market professionals. The test has been developed in partnership the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI).

Broadridge Financial Solutions has integrated SWIFT global payments innovation (gpi) for its corporate clients and is now on-boarding users.
The solution, introduced to enhance the speed, transparency and end-to-end tracking of cross-border payments, is now available through Broadridge’s financial messaging application (FinMApp) to all SWIFT members.

Former US Congressman Richard H Baker, the President and CEO of Managed Funds Association (MFA), is to step down from his positions, effective 31 December, 2019.
In a speech to the Exchequer Club of Washington DC, Baker (pictured) reflected on MFA’s decade of progress since the financial crisis – a time of transformative change for the global hedge fund industry – and shared policy recommendations to strengthen capital markets and help facilitate continued growth.

A new survey by Eze Castle Integration has highlighted the current technology and cybersecurity priorities for investment management firms.
The 2019 Global Investment Management Survey, conducted in partnership with Microsoft and IDG Research, canvassed the views of 150 senior-level executives from the United States and United Kingdom, and its findings cover technology priorities, cybersecurity plans and concerns, outsourcing attitudes and trends, and IT budgeting.
