Metamako, a provider of intelligent, FPGA-enabled network platforms, is providing its technology to Deutsche Börse Group to increase the accuracy, speed and precision of data capture, network monitoring and timestamping of its co-location network. Every trade is now monitored by a Metamako device, making it an integral part of the Deutsche Börse infrastructure.   The exchange is deploying Metamako’s K-Series network devices running MetaWatch, an ultra-precise tapping and timestamping application, which gives the exchange unprecedented insight into the customer-facing part of its network. B2C2, a cryptocurrency market maker, has appointed Phillip Gillespie as CEO of B2C2 Japan. Effective 29 January, Gillespie will lead the company’s operations in Tokyo.  Phillip joins from Goldman Sachs where he oversaw the FX G10 business for EMEA as part of the systematic market making team. Previously, he was an FX voice and systematic trader at Barclays and J.P. Northern Trust Corporation has reached an agreement with Citadel to bring Omnium technology development in-house – including a team of key development professionals as well as software development rights for its Omnium technology platform. The agreement gives Northern Trust greater control over technological enhancements. Fenimore Asset Management (FAM) has selected Ultimus Fund Solutions to provide services for its three mutual funds, with USD1.6 billion in net assets. FAM, a Cobleskill, New York based firm, converted the servicing of their funds to Ultimus after performing the functions internally since the inception of the funds in 1987.   FAM hired Ultimus to provide fund administration, fund accounting and financial reporting services for the FAM Funds which include: FAM Value Fund, FAM Equity-Income Fund, and the FAM Small Cap Fund.
