Eight months after announcing their plans to develop a new asset servicing model for TARGET2-Securities (T2S), Clearstream and BNP Paribas Securities Services have signed a partnership agreement.  Both companies are now well underway towards a timely T2S readiness and in a pioneer position when it comes to presenting a tangible asset servicing model for the market environment with T2S. Financial services software provider SS&C Technologies Holdings has acquired DST Global Solutions Ltd, a subsidiary of DST Systems, Inc, for USD95 million in cash.   DST Global’s products now owned by SS&C include industry-leading investment and fund accounting platform, HiPortfolio, and investment data management and analytics platform, Anova. SS&C financed a USD75 million portion of the purchase price by drawing down on its line of credit. With more than 155 customers throughout the Americas, EMEA, and Asia-Pacific, the DST Global products complement SS&C’s existing portfolio of technology capabilities and service offerings. Deutsche Bank and BayernLB have executed the first trades on Bloomberg to be cleared via EurexOTC Clear for IRS.  The ability to trade and automatically clear EurexOTC Clear for IRS deals makes the execution and processing of these trades significantly easier for Bloomberg users. Singapore Exchange (SGX) is to launch a bond trading platform by mid-2015. It will initially trade Asian corporate bonds in G3 currencies, with Asian local currencies to follow.  To drive this initiative, the first of its kind focused on Asian bonds, SGX has formed a new subsidiary, SGX Bond Trading (SGX BT).
