Pacific Fund Systems (PFS) has delivered an automated AIFMD Annex IV reporting solution in the latest release of its PFS-PAXUS fund accounting and share registry software platform. BATS Chi-X Europe (BATS) is to offer trading in Turkey’s most liquid stocks from 3 November 2014. The addition of BIST30 index names means that BATS will now offer trading across 16 of Europe’s most liquid and active markets.   The move follows significant customer demand to trade Turkish securities – the market is one of the fastest growing in Europe with EUR319bn traded in 2013 – on a low-cost, efficient pan-European exchange. Eight months after the launch of the reporting duty for exchange traded derivatives (ETD) and over-the-counter (OTC), over one billion transactions have been processed by REGIS-TR, the European trade repository owned by Clearstream (Deutsche Börse Group) and Iberclear (BME). The Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation (DTCC), in collaboration with the financial services industry, has formed an industry steering committee to drive the implantation of two-day settlement cycle (T+2) in the US. DTCC has teamed up with an industry working group to facilitate the move to shorten the settlement cycle in the US for trades in equities, corporate and municipal bonds, and unit investment trusts (UITs).   The move from the current three-day settlement cycle (T+3) to a T+2 cycle will reduce operational and systemic risk by limiting exposure and creating greater efficiencies in trade processing.    Co-chaired by Kathleen
