“Arista Networks EOS (Extensible Operating System) is at the heart of Arista’s platform and is the most powerful and most programmable network operating system. EOS provides a combination of highly efficient communication services along with delivery of security, stability, openness, modularity and extensibility. We therefore welcome the opportunity to partner with S&P Capital IQ Real-Time Solutions’ QuantLINK product, in order to supply the reliability, flexibility and competitive speeds that are required by clients in this fast-paced environment.”
Stephane Leroy, vice-president, head of global real-time solutions at S&P Capital IQ, says: “We have always been at the forefront of low-latency technologies in an effort to provide the best service to our customers. We are committed to continuously developing our products though new partnerships and research and development to ensure that they have access to ultimate performance on market data and order routing. We believe our partnership with Arista Networks will facilitate this.”
QuantLINK, the trading infrastructure and co-location hosting services, interconnects the cores of multiple exchanges with proximity hosting at the source, thus ensuring clients can operate trading systems in close proximity to the exchange matching engine. The solution simultaneously addresses the demand to reduce both connectivity costs and latency, while also having the capability to complement or replace existing legacy infrastructures.
