The SS&C GlobeOp Forward Redemption Indicator for April 2022 measured 1.48%, down from 1.92% in March.
“SS&C GlobeOp’s Forward Redemption Indicator for April 2022 of 1.48% reflects a decline in redemption notices compared with the 2.07% reported for the same period a year ago,” said Bill Stone, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, SS&C Technologies. “In fact, the 1.48% reported for April 2022 is the lowest redemption rate for any month of April since the inception of the Forward Redemption Indicator in 2008. This historically low level of redemptions suggests investors are confident hedge fund managers can generate favourable risk-adjusted returns in the current high volatility market environment.”
