The SS&C GlobeOp Forward Redemption Indicator for January 2016 measured 2.31 per cent, down from 4.98 per cent in December.

"SS&C GlobeOp's Forward Redemption Indicator came in at 2.31 per cent for January 2016, down from 4.98 per cent for December 2015 and also down year-over-year compared to 2.49 per cent for January 2015," says Bill Stone, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, SS&C Technologies. "It's noteworthy that on a year-over-year basis, the Forward Redemption Indicator has fallen seven of the past eight months, including the most recent four months consecutively. This continuing pattern is consistent with other data we track, indicating investors are confident that hedge funds can deliver attractive returns, particularly in highly volatile markets."

The SS&C GlobeOp Forward Redemption Indicator represents the sum of forward redemption notices received from investors in hedge funds administered by SS&C GlobeOp on the SS&C GlobeOp platform, divided by the AuA at the beginning of the month for SS&C GlobeOp fund administration clients on the SS&C GlobeOp platform. Forward redemptions as a percentage of SS&C GlobeOp's assets under administration on the SS&C GlobeOp platform have trended significantly lower since reaching a high of 19.27 per cent in November 2008. The next publication date is 22 February, 2016.
