Stouff Capital, the Geneva-based hedge fund firm founded by former Pictet Asset Management execs Julien Stouff and Gregory Chevalier, has appointed Aviv Merci, another Pictet alumni, as a Managing Director and the firm’s Head of Business Development and Investor Relations, according to a report by finews.com.
The appointment comes as Stouff, which launched five years ago, is approaching $100m in assets for its flagship Quantamental Global Equity Long/Short Fund hedge fund, according to a statement by the firm.
Merci has joined Stouff from London-based credit hedge fund firm Sona Asset Management where he held the position of Head of Investor Relations for almost four years. Prior to that he worked in client relationship roles for Pictet in Geneva and London.
