London-based quantitative macro-credit manager Tabula Capital will sell its parent European ETF business Tabula Investment Management (TIML), which was founded in 2018, to global asset manager Janus Henderson Group.
TIML, led by CEO MJ Lytle, is an independent ETF provider in Europe focused on fixed income, sustainability and ESG products. Over the past six years, TIML has built an investment management and ETF platform with funds listed across ten European exchanges serving clients across 15 countries.
Tabula Capital is not part of the transaction and will continue as an independent legal entity, with David Peacock and John Weiss remaining as CEO and CIO.
Financial terms of the transaction have not been disclosed, and the acquisition is expected to complete in Q2 2024 subject to usual closing conditions, including regulatory approvals.
