TheBuyList.com, a US-based provider of independent stock research, rankings and ratings, has announced the beta release of a hedge fund transaction database and analytics that will enable subscribers to see a list of stocks bought or sold by a growing number of hedge funds and key analytical reports along with the company’s core mutual fund database.
‘With more than two million historical transactions in our database going back to late 2006, we offer unique mutual fund analytics to investors,’ says Mehmet Oguz, founder and chief executive of TheBuyList.com.
‘Hedge fund transaction analytics was something our subscribers asked for. The number of hedge funds and stock transactions are growing every day, and this feature will enable us to maintain our leadership position among quantitative stock research web sites.’
TheBuyList.com uses search algorithms to extract mutual fund and hedge transactions from various sources such as Securities and Exchange Commission filings. A user simply puts a stock symbol in the search bar and the site delivers ratings, rankings, a list of mutual or hedge fund transactions and the newest feature, the discovery tool.
