A new survey from prime broker IG Prime has revealed that UK hedge fund managers overwhelmingly prefer UK stocks to those from other jurisdictions, according to a report by Investment Week.
In all, some 96% of managers surveyed made UK stocks their No1 choice despite other countries seeing much higher stock market growth.
Year-on-year UK stock market growth currently measures 9% according to market platform Trading Economics, while Argentina has seen year-on-year growth of 91.4%, Turkey 74.6%, and the UAE 66.8%.
