James Regan has left UBS in London, where he held the position of Co-Head: Global G11 & PM STIR Trading, to take up a Portfolio Manager position in New York at multi-strategy, multi-manager hedge fund firm Verition Fund Management.
Regan, who will reportedly be running a macro investing pod at Verition, has been with UBS for over nine years having first joined the bank in July 2018 in New York before moving to London three months later.
Prior to UBS, Regan spent nearly 14 years with Barclays in New York as a Managing Director and Head of USD Swaps Trading and Linear FX Trading.
Verition, which was founded in 2008 and is based in New York with offices in Connecticut, Dubai, Hong Kong, London and Singapore, focuses on global investment strategies including credit, fixed income & macro, convertible & volatility arbitrage, event-driven, equity long-short & capital markets as well as quantitative investing.
