The SS&C GlobeOp Forward Redemption Indicator for February 2022 measured 1.79 per cent, up from 1.52 per cent in January.
“SS&C GlobeOp’s Forward Redemption Indicator for February 2022 of 1.79per cent represents a decrease in redemption notices compared to the 2.37per cent reported for the same period a year ago,” says Bill Stone, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of SS&C Technologies. “Moreover, the 1.79 per cent reported is the lowest level of redemptions for any month of February since the inception of the Forward Redemption Indicator in 2008.
“This historically low level of redemptions is particularly noteworthy as it follows a month of sharp declines in both equity and fixed income markets, demonstrating investor confidence in hedge fund managers’ ability to produce favorable risk-adjusted returns in difficult markets.”
