Cohen "actually pretty bullish" on economic outlook

Point72 Asset Management founder Steve Cohen believes investors are too worried about a market decline and has said he is "actually pretty bullish" about the current economic outlook, according to a report by Bloomberg.

Speaking at a private SALT conference event this week, Cohen reportedly said that focusing too much on a potential decline means investors may miss out on a "big wave" of opportunities arising from the emergence of artificial intelligence.

"I'm making a prognostication – we're going up. I'm actually pretty bullish," Bloomberg quotes Cohen as saying.
