Prosiris Capital Management, a credit-oriented investment manager with over USD1bn in assets under management, has appointed Aashish Marfatia to the firm’s investment team.
Marfatia will be responsible for non-agency residential mortgage trading and related investments.
Prior to joining Prosiris, Marfatia was a vice president at Tilden Park and Credit Suisse. With over 10 years of experience in the mortgage and securitised product space across research and trading, Marfatia will complement Prosiris’s fundamental investment approach.
Prosiris says Marfatia’s research-driven approach to investment, in addition to his consistent ability to generate alpha in the non-agency residential mortgage sector, aligns with the core principals of the firm.
