Altegris Investments has promoted one of its senior alternative investment professionals and hired two additional senior staff members.
Todd Trusso, a five-year veteran of Altegris, was recently named director, private vlient group taking on the broader management and leadership responsibilities of the team of investment professionals serving sophisticated investors and family offices. Trusso’s previous experience includes serving as a manager of financial services with Prudential Financial, where he was responsible for overseeing a team of 12 financial advisers.

Chris Maudlin has joined the Altegris team as a vice president in the private client group. Prior to Altegris, Maudlin played a key role as a financial adviser at Merrill Lynch within a team responsible for the management of over USD700m in client assets. Maudlin has also held wealth adviser and financial analyst positions with Morgan Stanley and Citibank.
Chris Vigliatore joins Altegris as an associate vice president and will serve the company’s expanding institutional relationships team. In his previous role with Man Financial, Vigliatore worked in managed futures and alternative investment operations, focusing on providing investment and trade execution solutions to external institutional sales forces.
