Arini, a hedge fund firm founded by former Credit Suisse credit trader Hamza Lemssouguer, has continued its recent hiring spree by acquiring the services of another big bank credit trader – Deutsche Bank’s Ardacan Celebi, according to a report by eFinancial Careers.
Celebi, who spent five years with Deutsche as a credit index trader in London, has joined Arini as a cross asset trader, in his first foray into the hedge fund space.
Prior to Deutsche Bank, he had stints with Barclays Investment Bank, JP Morgan Chase and Goldman Sachs.
Arini has been building out its team this year, with head of compliance James Wilson, who came from Jacob Rees Mogg’s Somerset Capital, CLO portfolio manager Evangeline Lim from Pinebridge Investments, and James Howard, Credit Suisse’s former head of fixed income investor products, all joining the firm.
