B2C2, a provider of institutional liquidity and credit for digital assets, has opened a new office in Singapore, building on its existing presence in Japan and other financial centres.
B2C2 will be applying for a Major Payment Institution licence under the Monetary Authority of Singapore.
B2C2’s Singapore operation will be led by David Rogers, who currently serves as Chief Executive Officer, Asia-Pacific.
Prior to joining B2C2 in 2023, he served as Chief Operating Officer at digital assets-focused algorithmic trading and market making firm Auros. He was also previously Managing Director and Head of Multi-Asset Trading, Asia-Pacific at State Street Global Advisors and as Head of APAC Equity Portfolio Trading at UBS in Tokyo and then Hong Kong.
B2C2 is backed by Japanese financial services group SBI and provides credit, liquidity, pricing and settlement for institutional clients from its offices in London, Paris, Luxembourg, New Jersey, Tokyo and now Singapore.
