Bank of Bermuda appoints Robin Fuller as Head of GFS Guernsey

Bank of Bermuda’s Global Fund Services (GFS) division has appointed Robin Fuller as Head of GFS in Guernsey reporting to Paul Smith, Head of Global Fund Services.


Fuller takes over from Keith Dorrian, who ran the business for the past five years and is now retiring.


Fuller was previously Managing Director of Rothschild Asset Management (C.I.) in Guernsey where he was responsible for the overall development of the offshore business and held directorships for a number of Rothschild Group joint ventures and fund management companies based in Malta, the Isle of Man and Israel as well as numerous other fund directorships.


In January 2003, Rothschild Asset Management (C.I.) was acquired by Insight Investment Management where Fuller continued his role as Managing Director until his present appointment.

Fuller will also report to Harvey Twomey, Regional Director of Sales, Europe, who said:  “Robin brings with him invaluable experience on the fund management side including responsibility for product development, sales and distribution strategies.  Our objective is to strengthen the service offering of the Guernsey office – particularly in the hedge fund arena – and Robin will be pivotal to this strategy.”

Fuller is a well-known and highly respected figure in Guernsey. He is the Chairman of the Guernsey International Bankers Association and the Guernsey Promotional Agency, Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers as well as a Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and the Securities Institute.
