Following the success of its Jersey-based BVI practice, Bedell Cristin has established a new Bedell Cristin BVI Partnership, which will commence business later this autumn.
The new BVI Partnership will operate from new offices in the BVI and Singapore in addition to continuing to service its European based clients out of Jersey. Our BVI law team will also work closely with our Jersey and Guernsey law teams in servicing our clients in Asia.
Complementing this development, Bedell Trust will at the same time be forming an affiliation with an established BVI corporate management services company to support the provision of BVI corporate services to Bedell clients.
These developments are central to the Bedell strategy to provide multi-jurisdictional legal and fiduciary services in the key locations where our international client base demands them.
Bedell Cristin BVI Partnership will be immediately augmented by the addition of Mr Stephen Adams as a partner. Stephen is the principal at award winning BVI firm Barker Adams, and has over 15 years experience in the areas of corporate, banking and investment funds and has worked extensively in BVI, Hong Kong and Canada. He is recognised by the prominent legal directories as a leading lawyer in the BVI. Barker Adams’ business will be merged into the new firm and the Bedell Cristin BVI Partnership will continue to focus on corporate, banking, international finance transactions, investment funds and litigation.
