BNP Paribas has launched the Transatlantic Target Premium strategy within its THEAM Quant range, a UCITS income fund using options strategies across European and US equities to generate yield and capital growth.
The fund uses a dynamic put-writing approach combined with risk-reduction features and a tail-hedging overlay aimed at improving resilience during periods of market stress. It targets diversified income generation across two of the world’s largest equity regions, while seeking to reduce volatility and drawdowns.
The strategy reflects rising investor demand for alternative income sources beyond traditional fixed income, offering a systematic and transparent framework within a UCITS structure.
Vincent Berard, Head of Funds Solutions for THEAM Quant, said the strategy extends BNP Paribas’ quantitative income approach across global equity markets, while Roberto Bartolomei, Head of Global Distribution, highlighted growing client appetite for resilient, diversified yield solutions.
The fund is managed by BNP Paribas Asset Management Europe, classified under SFDR Article 6, and has a minimum recommended investment horizon of four years.
