Hveem was with JPMorgan for two years in Paris before taking up a PM role in Geneva for Brevan Howard, while Almeida left Bank of America after nearly ten years as an equity derivatives trader in Sydney, Hong Kong, and New York.

Buy-side new recruits meanwhile, include Cyril El-Adam who joined Brevan Howard in London from quant fund Squarepoint Capital, where he spent two years as a rates PM, while Tom Connor joined the firm’s New York office after three years with macro hedge fund Caxton Associates.
