Global macro major Brevan Howard now has 100 staff working from its office in Abu Dhabi, making it the first global hedge fund firm in the United Arab Emirates to reach the headcount milestone, according to a report by Financial News.
Brevan Howard’s Abu Dhabi office, which is located in the Abu Dhabi Global Market, has seen rapid growth since opening last February with just a handful of staff.
The report cites unnamed sources familiar with the matter in confirming that the Abu Dhabi office is home to portfolio managers, quantitative researchers and analysts, alongside 10 members of the firm’s crypto unit, Brevan Howard Digital.
