Brightway Asset Management taps SS&C for fund administration

Related Topics

Brightway Asset Management Limited (Brightway), an indirect wholly owned subsidiary of China Minmetals Corporation (CMC), principally engaged in asset management, has appointed SS&C GlobeOp as its fund administrator.

Brightway says the selection of SS&C GlobeOp was based on the platform’s strong functionality, ability to manage both fund administration and risk management and to handle a broad range of funds. Brightway was impressed by SS&C’s extensive suite of solutions and services coupled with the client-centric team able to provide strong onshore support.

Ken Peng, CIO, Brightway, says: “Our firm has funds with complex structures and rules so SS&C’s ability to service different types of structures was key. Additionally, we wanted a solution which could scale as we expand. We look forward to seeing the benefits of automation, yet maintaining high levels of client servicing.”

Risk management and compliance were also high on Brightway’s list. The company also cited SS&C GlobeOp’s regional team as beneficial, both for implementation and for quickly meeting daily needs.

“This project provides a fantastic opportunity for Brightway to standardise and automate its operations from the front- to back-office and achieve optimised productivity through SS&C GlobeOp’s leading platform and expert teams,” says Wout Kalis (pictured), Managing Director, Regional Head of Hedge Fund Services, SS&C GlobeOp. “This significant and exciting new relationship underscores our commitment to delivering world class solutions to our clients and the power of SS&C’s integrated solutions and services for asset managers globally.”
