Douglas Cypel, Citi’s Paris-based head of G3 inflation trading, has left the bank and is set to join hedge fund Brevan Howard, according to a report by eFinancial Craeers citing unnamed people familiar with the matter.
Cypel, a managing director and one of Citi’s most senior inflation specialists, serving as head of G3 inflation trading, is currently on gardening leave ahead of his move.
Brevan Howard declined to comment.
