Brevan Howard has appointed John Antonakakis, a managing director and global head of market risk for cash equities, systematic strategies and ECM at Credit Suisse, as its senior risk officer on equities strategies, according to a report by Financial Careers.
Antonakis, who spent three years at Credit Suisse having previously served as chief risk officer at QT Fund, a quant fund operated by the bank, joins the team at Jersey-based Brevan Howard’s New York office.
Prior to QT Fund, Antonakis had a short eight-month stint at BlackRock as director – risk and quantitative analysis, having spent the previous decade at Credit Suisse holding the position of director – market risk manager for global arbitrage trading and systematic strategies.
