Independent fund, trust and corporate service provider Crestbridge, has strengthened its Fund Services team with the appointment of Colin Targett as a Director.
Based at the firm’s Jersey headquarters, Targett’s remit will focus on growing Crestbridge’s liquid fund administration and ManCo offering following the firm’s recent approval by the Jersey Financial Services Commission (JFSC) to provide Management Company solutions to investment funds.
Colin brings with him nearly two decades of experience in both the offshore and onshore investment funds industry. Having started his investment funds career with KPMG in Bermuda, he has held a range of roles within the fund administration environment. In 2011 he established Apex Fund Services (UK) Ltd in London and most recently was Head of Fund Accounting at Pantheon Ventures, a global private equity firm with over USD30 billion under management across multiple global jurisdictions. He is an experienced Chartered Accountant with a breadth of experience in global fund structures and specialist fund domiciles.
Targett says: “Crestbridge is a dynamic, expanding company with strong values and heritage at its core. I’m excited to be joining a team that currently enjoys a strong reputation in the provision of a flexible and solution driven approach to real estate and private equity investment funds.”
Graeme McArthur, CEO, Crestbridge, says: “We’re delighted to have Colin join the Crestbridge team. His significant experience within the investment funds arena, spanning many aspects of investment funds services in multiple jurisdictions, will be a great asset to our Fund Services team and our clients.”
The administration of investment funds represents one of the most important service areas for Crestbridge. Clients include pension funds, private equity and venture capital funds, international blue-chip corporate companies including FTSE 100 companies and banks.
Crestbridge currently has over USD60 billion of assets under administration across multi-jurisdictional structures.
