Crestbridge strengthens real estate and corporate teams with senior appointments

Administration and corporate services firm Crestbridge has continued to strengthen its senior team in Jersey with the double appointment of Fiona Wilson and Steven Morrice.

Wilson joins Crestbridge as Director, Corporate and Capital Markets Services, and in her new role will take a lead in further expanding the firm’s growing listings and wider corporate services.

She has a background in law in both private practice and in-house that spans 17 years, including previous experience in Jersey and Australia. Specialising in corporate law, funds, capital markets, and trusts, she brings with her a comprehensive understanding of relevant regulatory laws, codes of practice, company secretarial law and corporate governance requirements. Prior to joining Crestbridge Wilson was in-house counsel for the Jersey subsidiary of a FTSE 100 company where she was a senior member of the management team and a technical advisor to directors, trustees, company secretaries and administrators.

In addition, Steven Morrice joins Crestbridge as an Associate Director within the firm’s Real Estate Services team, which is currently seeing rapid growth in the volume and value of property structures it manages and administers across the UK, Europe and further afield.

A Chartered Surveyor with 25 years of real estate experience, Morrice brings considerable property knowledge to the firm having held senior positions at a number of commercial property companies. Most recently he was Executive Director of a fully quoted UK property company and Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT). This background has provided Morrice with extensive direct experience of development, investment and asset management transactions, with particular expertise in complex planning and development projects.

Graeme McArthur (pictured), CEO, Crestbridge, says: “In Fiona and Steven we have two outstanding professionals who have the experience and specialist knowledge to help Crestbridge maintain growth in two business areas, real estate and corporate services, which continue to perform extremely well in Jersey. Not only is Jersey continuing to assert itself as a centre for listings services, with over 100 Jersey companies currently listed on nine different exchanges around the world, but it is also cementing its long standing position as a specialist centre for real estate structuring, with the value of real estate funds in Jersey growing by around a third over the past year alone.

“These senior additions to the Crestbridge team reflect the ambition we share here and the strength of the firm as a whole as we look to build on our recent successes and continue to support clients through our high quality real estate and corporate services capabilities this year.”
