Multi-family office CV Advisors has strengthened its investment leadership team with the appointment of Hailey Gordon as a Portfolio Manager, adding hedge fund expertise to its advisory and research platform, according to a report by Bloomberg.
Gordon joins the multi-family office from Bridgewater Associates, where she spent six years as an investor and institutional advisor at the world’s largest hedge fund. At Bridgewater, she worked closely with sovereign wealth funds and public pension plans, advising on portfolio construction, macroeconomic analysis, asset allocation and manager selection.
In her new role, Gordon will oversee investment management for a select group of client families, including portfolio construction and manager selection, while also contributing to firmwide research and investment strategy. She will work alongside founder, chief executive and chief investment officer Elliot Dornbusch in developing investment views and will sit on CV Advisors’ investment committee.
Prior to joining Bridgewater, Gordon worked in Barclays’ investment banking division, where she focused on interest rate and foreign exchange derivative solutions.
