Five portfolio managers have jumped ship from Credit Suisse to Lombard Odier IM (LOIM) where they will launch a new global macro fund on the firm’s 1798 Alternatives platform during the third quarter of 2024, according to a report by Investment Week.
The five are: Valentin Petrescou, Head of unconstrained and global fixed income strategies at Credit Suisse, along with Didier Anthamatten, Head of macro and discretionary systematic strategies, Jeremy Gatto, Multi-Asset Investment Manager and Trader, Maximilian Witschel, Multi-Asset & Fixed Income Portfolio Manager, and Philipp Mueller, Multi-Asset Portfolio Manager for quantitative & derivative investment solutions.
The report cites an unnamed source familiar with the matter as confirming that the new fund will comprise a blend of discretionary and systematic strategies.
