Multi-strategy major Millennium Management has named seven new Partners, including 35-year-old former Goldman Sachs Managing Director Dan Avery, who joined the firm as an index trader in October 2020, according to a report by eFinancial Careers.
The report cites a regulatory filing as revealing that the other six new Partners are Damien Fisher, Marco Silvestri, Zhenhai Li, Dale Gibbard, Damien Mccaughley and Alexei Melnikov.
Fisher joined Millennium in 2022, according to the FCA register, having previously worked for BlackRock, while Silvestri, who once worked for UBS, has been with the business since 2014, and Li meanwhile, is a quant who joined Millennium from Oxford Asset Management in 2020.
Gibbard meanwhile, who trades natural gas, came from Citadel in 2020, while Mccaughley joined Millennium from Deutsche in 2019, and emerge markets equities PM Melnikov, joined in 2014 having begun his career at Citi in London.
