Chris Maynard, former CFO of hedge fund Winton Capital Management, has taken up the role of Head of Treasury at AI-driven trading firm Quadrature, known for its substantial pay per employee, which averages over £3m, according to a report by eFinancial Careers.
Maynard, who built Winton’s treasury and served as Chief Risk Officer before becoming CFO, joins Quadrature at a challenging time for the firm which has seen revenues fall by over £100m ($129.8m) year-on-year, according to its most recent companies house accounts.
Quadrature’s appointment of Maynard, who left Winton in 2022 to become a consultant at change management consultancy Bailrigg, follows that of another Winton alumnus, quant developer Chinmay Kamat.
