Sumant Wahi, a former Partner at global long-short equity investment manager Gladstone Management, has joined Man Group as Portfolio Manager for a new tech-focused stock-picking strategy, according to a report by Business Insider.
Wahi, who previously ran a similar strategy at Fidelity International, will be part of the GLG unit at Man Group, which has $161bn under management and is the world’s largest listed hedge fund firm.
Wahi joined $2bn Gladstone to lead tech sector investments in August 2021 after nearly seven years at Fidelity where he served as Portfolio Manager for the firm’s Global TMT Fund.
