Shashank Vij, Head of Operations and Engineering at crypto investment products fintech Menai Financial Group has joined macro hedge fund firm Rokos Capital Management as a Software Developer with a found on research technology, according to a report by eFinancial Careers.
Prior to Menai, Vij spent more than five years with Goldman Sachs in London, joining as an intern in 2016, and recently serving as a Vice President.
Via is the latest in a number of Goldman alumni to have joined Rokos this year, including FX options trader Yassine Makrini who was appointed as the hedge fund’s Head of Macro Trading Strategy in April, and Senior Operations Analyst Anna Tasker who joined from consultancy ORC in June, having previously been part of Goldman’s asset management division.
