Verition Fund Management has experienced notable turnover in its credit trading team, with two senior hires from major investment banks reportedly leaving the firm within a relatively short period after joining, according to a report by eFinancial Careers.
Rani Nazim, previously co-head of European credit trading at Morgan Stanley, joined Verition’s London office in late 2025 after nearly two decades at the US bank. She has since departed the hedge fund, according to regulatory records indicating her exit in recent weeks.]
Separately, Paul Ashcroft, former head of EMEA high yield trading at Bank of America, who joined Verition in Dubai in 2023, is also understood to have left earlier this year.
The departures come amid broader adjustments within Verition’s credit strategy platform, where the firm is believed to be consolidating its focus around a smaller group of portfolio managers, including teams led by former Millennium and RBC professionals.
Neither Verition nor the individuals involved have commented on the reported exits.
