Hildene Capital Management (Hildene), a $14.7bn credit-focused asset manager, has appointed Jason Schechter as Head of Capital Markets.
Schechter, who has 25 years of experience across structured products, joins from Jefferies where he served as Global Head of CLO origination and US CLO trading. He also previously held CLO-focused roles at UBS and Lehman Brothers, as well as within CLO/structured finance groups at Barclays, Morgan Stanley and Greenwich NatWest.
Schechter reports to Brett Jefferson, Hildene’s President and Co-Chief Investment Officer, and Dushyant Mehra, Hildene’s Co-Chief Investment Officer.
