Interdealer broker ICAP has added index futures rolls to its recently launched equity derivatives electronic offering, iLinked, on the ICAP Securities Limited Multilateral Trading Facility (MTF).
This is the first interdealer offering of electronic trading in this product, underlining ICAP’s role as a leader in the move towards the electronification of OTC markets.
ICAP is offering trading in the following index futures rolls: EuroStoxx, FTSE, EuroStoxx & Stoxx sectors, DAX and AEX and plans to add further indices in the future.
Garry Stewart, ICAP’s Managing Director, Equity Derivatives, EMEA, says: “We have seen strong customer demand for iLinked since its launch in March this year and already have 25 participating firms. The addition of futures rolls to the platform today is the result of customer demand and the continuing need to bring OTC liquidity onto an orderly and transparent electronic platform.”
iLinked offers traders improved spreads and provides greater price transparency for ICAP’s customers. As a hybrid service, it offers traders the option of transacting electronically or using a voice broker. The platform offers a range of over the counter equity derivatives products, allowing traders to access a transparent pool of liquidity across over 200 instruments.
