iConnections launches Funds4Ukraine

When iConnections launched in 2020 with its Funds4Food campaign, it saw a need to bring the hedge and private equity industries together to help victims of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Now the company is are pivoting its Funds4Kids cap intro event to the crisis in Ukraine as Funds4Ukraine.

For every completed meeting with an iConnections fund member, iConnections will donate USD100 to Concern Worldwide, a charity whose Emergency Fund is earmarked for emergencies, including the Ukraine Crisis.

Concern’s Emergency Response Team is currently assessing the humanitarian needs along the Ukraine borders with Poland. It plans to assess the situation along the borders of Romania and Moldova in the coming days. The team will work with national authorities, the United Nations, local non-government organisations, and Concern’s partners in the Alliance2015 group of NGOs to respond.Concern has extensive experience of dealing with refugee crises around the world, including humanitarian responses in Europe, most recently responding to the crisis in Kosovo and Albania in 1999.

Event partners, SALT, ICG Advisors, and Prosek Partners have all contributed USD25,000 each to match any iConnections contribution. All donors appear on the iConnections website, unless they choose to remain anonymous. 
 
110 allocators have already signed up, including Amherst College, Brookings Institution, California Endowment, Cambridge University, Carleton College, Columbia University, Dartmouth College, Group Health Foundation, Hewlett Foundation, Hilton Foundation, Kamehameha Schools, and Moore Foundation.
