Chris Twort, a veteran with over three decades of experience in financial trading, has been named Head of Trading at iSAM Securities (UK), expanding his role from leading the trading and execution division at iSAM Funds (UK).
In his new position, Twort will oversee trading operations across iSAM Securities, leveraging his expertise in both manual and electronic trading to enhance the company’s offerings. He will lead the global e-Trading team and focus on providing tailored, market-specific feedback to clients, empowering them to optimise their strategies and performance.
Twort began his career as a manual trader at major institutions like UBS, National Australia Bank, Royal Bank of Canada, and Rabobank before transitioning to electronic trading. Joining iSAM in 2015 as part of its e-Trading team, Twort has witnessed and contributed to the evolution of trading automation. Today, iSAM Funds trades across more than 600 markets, with the majority of activity conducted through advanced automated systems—a transformation Twort has played a pivotal role in driving.
Twort’s appointment comes as iSAM Securities looks to strengthen relationships with a diverse client base, including hedge funds, asset managers, banks, and retail clients.
